Thai Wedding Ceremony at Amber room 1 | Thursday, 11 July 2024
Q: What was the first step you took in preparing for your wedding, and where did you look for information?
A: We started by discussing our vision together. We wanted a small wedding with around 50 guests—mainly elders from both families and a small group of close friends. We preferred a relaxed ceremony with only essential rituals, so the couple wouldn’t feel overwhelmed. Any non-essential elements could be removed.
Therefore, we needed a venue that could meet our needs in terms of accessibility, guest capacity, flexibility to customize the ceremony, availability on our auspicious date, and—most importantly—staying within our budget.
Q: How did you choose your wedding venue, and why did you choose this one?
A: We began by searching for wedding venues on Google and were drawn to IMPACT Muang Thong Thani. After reviewing the pricing and package sizes, we felt they were well-suited to the wedding we had planned. We then contacted the team to arrange a site visit and discuss further details.
After speaking with Khun Sai, we found that IMPACT Wedding offers comprehensive resources and high flexibility to tailor arrangements to the couple’s needs. We could clearly brief our requirements and received prompt, attentive service from Khun Sai for additional information and follow-ups. This led us to decide to host our wedding with IMPACT Wedding.
Q: What did you like most?
A: The venue itself stood out—it is spacious, easy to access, well-known, and offers ample parking. We chose Amber 1, which we loved for its curved design and crystal-adorned ceiling. Another advantage was that bringing in our own backdrop did not incur an additional fee.
Q: Did you have a wedding theme?
A: Yes, our theme was Earth Tones. We felt this color palette was warm and balanced—neither too hot nor too cool. Since our wedding was intimate, we wanted guests to feel comfortable and close, but not overly casual.
Q: Did the venue’s wedding packages cover your needs?
A: We chose the morning ceremony package with lunch, specifically the Micro Wedding Package. It covered almost everything we needed—so much so that we could practically show up with empty hands. We only needed to add a few items, such as a backdrop, floral arrangements, some additional décor to suit our preferences, and wedding favors.
Q: Did the food and services meet your expectations?
A: The food was excellent, and the portions were very generous. Our guests all agreed that the food was delicious. The service was also impressive—the staff ensured everything ran smoothly without any issues.
Before the wedding day, when we needed to bring items in, the staff assisted us, and on the actual day, they helped arrange everything in place and ready before the ceremony began.
Q: Did you use a wedding planner?
A: No, we did not use a wedding planner, as most elements were already included in the IMPACT Wedding package. We only needed a few additional touches, and we received great support from both Khun Sai and the ceremony coordinator.
Q: Overall, what impressed you the most about the wedding?
A: The ceremony coordinator, Khun Joy, impressed us the most. She received many detailed requests from us, including some that went beyond standard arrangements.
For example, although banquet tables are usually round, we wanted long tables instead. Khun Joy created a layout plan and made it happen in reality. She also executed the floral color tones at various points exactly as we envisioned. Everything turned out perfectly aligned with what we wanted.
Q: What advice would you give to couples planning their wedding?
A: Simply come to IMPACT—visit the venue, have a conversation, and contact Khun Sai for recommendations. Whatever you may need or have questions about, both Khun Sai and Khun Joy are always happy to help.
